Great Italian spot with some outdoor seating options. We did a pasta and pasta to share. Pasta was decent but the pizza was amazing. Pizzas are all Neapolitan style, extremely thin with a great puffy crust.

5/5 for the mamma Mia pizza. It was amazing. Giving 4 stars because the penne pasta we got was just decent. Would definitely come back for the pizza though.

Comfortable but elegant with attentive service. Our group was celebrating a birthday, and the large round table was perfect for our party. Our glasses were never empty of water or cocktails, and the food came promptly. I would definitely recommend for celebrations, and group meetups.

My never-ending search for blissful fluffy homemade Gnocchi has brought me to the trendy, modern Italian eatery known for its innovative cuisine called Masseria dei Vini. Walking into Masseria I was pleased to find a beautiful bar area with a marble countertop and a display of premium spirits, followed by tables set with crisp white linens, stylish dinnerware, creating an elegant yet unpretentious ambiance. There is truly nothing better than Italian cuisine in a stylish and vibrant setting within two blocks of Columbus Circle. But most importantly the food! The gnocchi is tender and light, almost airy, with a slight chewiness that melts in your mouth. It rests in a pool of creamy truffle sauce, a sauce that is generously but not overwhelmingly applied, ensuring each gnocchi is well-coated without drowning. A great dinner provided by talented and very attentive staff who monitor the dining room relentlessly. I look forward to returning. Cheers!

Living in the neighborhood, I've been hitting up Masseria dei Vini for years, and it never disappoints. This place nails that perfect mix of classic Italian vibes with a modern twist. From the moment you step in, the cozy farmhouse decor makes you feel right at home. Plus, it's more spacious than your average NYC restaurant, so you can actually enjoy your meal without feeling cramped. The menu? Packed with deliciousness! We kicked things off with some mouth-watering appetizers. The grilled octopus is a must-try - tender, perfectly charred, and served with a bean puree so tasty it makes you want to lick the plate. For the main event, I had the Pork Chop Milanese - juicy and full of flavor. The Tomato Spaghetti was another win, with a rich sauce that tasted like it came straight from some Italian grandma's kitchen. The service is usually spot on, though sometimes it feels a tad rushed when the place is hopping. But hey, the staff are always friendly and make sure you're taken care of. Now, about that bread basket - it used to be epic with a bunch of options. Nowadays, it's a bit more basic, but those addictive breadsticks and the tasty giardiniera still make it a treat. We wrapped up our meal with the cheesecake, and it was the perfect sweet finish - creamy, rich, and just the right amount of tangy. Sure, the prices are a bit higher than your average Italian joint, but the portion sizes are generous and the quality is there. The food is really good, but nothing that'll blow your mind. It's a solid spot with a great atmosphere, even if it might not be the most unforgettable meal you've ever had. All in all, Masseria dei Vini is a fantastic choice if you're craving some hearty Italian food in a charming setting. Whether you're a regular like me or a first-timer, you're in for a good time!

What went well? Everything. Traffic put us in the city past our reservation but Masseria was so gracious to let us come when we arrived. They knew we were going to the opera and made sure that everything came out as soon as possible. The orecchiette pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was the best I have ever had. I wish I could duplicate the recipe at home. Great place on the west side within a few blocks of Lincoln Center. If you go let me know if it's as good as my experience. If I could rate it higher than a 5 I would!

What an absolute delight! Our server Samie was great and extremely professional. The sommelier recommended a wonderful bottle of Timorasso and the food was lights out fantastic. The true star of the show was the support staff. Always present but never in the way, filling water here, whisking away a plate there, crumbing, marking the table...whatever needed to be done. All five of us had different entrees and four of the five were tens and the fifth, veal and cheese tortaloni was a 8.5. We started with the calamari and fried zucchini straws. Both A+. Shockingly the best thing on the table was a side of zucchini gratin. It was decadent! Great wine list and very large selection of after dinner options.

I've been dreaming about the veal agnolotti for twenty-four hours. Beautiful place, more romantic (and roomy) than its exterior might suggest, especially when they dim the lights. And, as its name suggests, is THE place for wine lovers. I was also impressed with the staffing in both quantity and quality. There was no waiting for anything. This was a celebration night for my partner and I, and I had carefully read through the reviews and menus of a lot of other Italian restaurants in the area before settling on MdV. I wanted to feel like we'd had an extra special experience and we definitely got that. My only small critique is that I felt like the apple tart didn't live up to the flavor of the other dishes, minus the vanilla ice cream on top. The tart itself was a bit bland and watery. When in doubt, stick with the tiramisu!

Very good authentic Italian cuisine. Much better food, and generally more spacious atmosphere, than many other high end choices in Hells Kitchen. The rabbit and veal agnolotti were phenomenal and worth returning for.
